14 bodies recovered from Tara Air crash site

Pokhara—14 dead bodies from 9N-AET crash site ha been recovered on Monday morning. The Tara Air twin otter with 19 passengers and 3 crew members on board was missing since Sunday morning.

Local people discovered the crashed site at Sansure in Thashang Rurual Municipality- 2 of Mustang district where they saw the debris of aircraft. According to Civial Aviation Authority of Nepal, the identity of dead bodies is yet to be ascertained.  

Authorities said that the search operation is still on and the recovered bodies will be flown to Kathmandu for postmortem purpose. The aircraft lost contact during Pokhara Jomsom flight at around 10.7 am NPT, 12 minutes after the takeoff. The aircraft supposed to land at 10.15 am at Jomsom Airport.
