Pokhara—Eight persons were killed and one other injured when a Bolero jeep met with an accident at Ghandruk in Nepal. The jeep carrying a total of nine Nepali tourists skied of a road and plunged into Modi River at Kalabhir, District Police Office Kaski informed.
The jeep with a number plate Ga 1 Ja 6900 was heading to Ghandruk from Pokhara of Kaski district. Ghandruk is a popular tourist village along the Annapurna Trekking route. Injured Devika Ghishing happened to come out and dangled in the cliff during the jeep plunge. Her condition is said to be normal. The deceased were from Kathmandu, Gorkha, and Kaski.
