There is no reason to untrust this Govt: PM Oli

Pokhara— Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has asked for vote of confidence from House of Representatives today. Addressing a special house session today in Kathmandu, PM Oli said that he is hopeful that he will pass the floor test. ‘I request for vote of confidence as per article 100- 1 of Nepal’s constitution,’ Oli said.

At the same time, PM Oli is hopeful that Nepal will be successful to control the Covid- 19 pandemic. He requested all the Nepalis to wear masks, maintain social distance, use sanitizer and wash hands to defeat coronavirus.

PM Oli said that the government is ready to amend the constitution as per the requirement and sense as it is not an unchangeable record book. He reminded that the government brought CK Raut and Netra Bikram Chand Biplav’s parties in peaceful politics.

‘The government has left no stone unturned in the issue of safeguarding nationality, freedom implementation, territorial integrity, and national pride,’ PM Oli said, so, there is no reason to untrusting this government as it is has been working for the good governance, law and peace maintaining and resolving the national problems. ‘There is no reason to criticize this government if we accept the truth,’ he said.

Claiming that Nepal is the first nation after India in south Asia, PM Oli added that the nation is having enough numbers of PCR tests every day. He also said that the government is fighting against Covid- 19 with full strength. Saying that the saving of people’s life is first priority, PM Oli criticized some opposition parties of relying on fake news to flay him. He claimed that there was no corruption from the government side during the process of Covid- 19 vaccine procurement.  

According to him, infrastructure development, construction of tunnels and airports, development of communication, implementation of Melamchi drinking water project, reconstruction of earthquake-hit structures, modernization of agriculture, generation of employment, and protection of industrial sector are some of the done and to be done works.
