Pokhara—Nepal Magar Cultural Association Kaski has provided the relief material to 44 Magar artistes who have been hard hit due to negative effect of Covid-19 pandemic and floods in Pokhara on Sunday. Food grains including cash that were received from Nepalese People UK were distributed to the needy artistes.
The relief materials were distributed by Nepali Congress leader Nabaraj Gurung at a program organized in the premises of Nepal Magar Association official building nearby Pokhara Stadium. Rs 125,000 were given to NMCA chairperson Sarita Saru Magar.
Addressing the program chief guest Gurung said that the relief distribution is an exemplary work as many artistes have been badly affected as most of them lost their job as many duet song restaurants and other business centers are remained closed due to pandemic. Photo journalist and relief material collection coordinator Milan Gurung made clear that dozens of people have extended their support to provide those materials for the artistes.
