Pokhara—A Boeing 737 with 170 passengers on board crashed in Iran. The Ukrainian plane met with an accident shortly after taking off from Tehran. According Iranian state news media, the cause behind the accident has termed technical problem.
Local media reported that the plane was flying to Ukraine’s capital Kyiv. Photo and video footages show that rescuers are examining rubbles of the crashed plane. All the passengers in plane feared dead.
According to a flight tracker, Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 took off from Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran at 6:12 a.m. on Wednesday and disconnected contact at 6:14 a.m.
The crashed happened at a time when Iran is facing struggle with the United States as latter reportedly killed former’s Army Chief.
