Background: Birethanti-Tadapani trekking trail is a newly explored virgin route in the popular Annapurna Region. This route was explored by Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) Western Regional Association Pokhara in association with Annapurna Rural Municipality and Nepal Tourism Board. This is a quiet and excessively less crowded route in Kaski district of Gandaki Province. As most of the trekking trails in Nepal have been overlapping by dusty motorable roads, TAAN WRA Pokhara had explored this new route during its Silver Jubilee year in June 2018.

Tadapani, which is also a starting point of Hidden Lake trek, also was explored by TAAN WRA Pokhara in 2016. So, Birethanti-Tadapani trekking could be a best choice for the guests who like to do two-night three-day trekking.

Besides major course, there is also another old trail that takes left-turn from Danghsingh to reach Ghorepani via Pochu, Myuri Kharka, Ngasi Kharka and Nange Thanti. This section of trail goes through the hilltop of Sabed village. Likewise, there is also second choice for hikers from Tham Danda (2284m).  It could be taken right-turn from Tham Danda to reach Meshram Baraha Temple at the hilltop of Ghandruk via Thaipro Kharka. Then the Tadapani is accessible walking through Bhaisikharka.

Tadapani has also lots of tea houses and lodges with broadband internet facilities. Camping trek also could be operated in this trail as per the guest’s choices.

Ancient cattle-shade as well as the natural and cultural beauty also are the added attractions.
