Pokhara—Bikal Tulachan has been unanimously reelected as a chairman of Paschimanchal Hotel Association Pokhara. Young entrepreneur Tulachan is the proprietor of Fairmount Hotel. The 19th convention of PHAP held in Pokhara on Tuesday also elected a new executive body for two years of tenure.
Bharat Raj Parajuli of Hotel Peace Plaza is the immidate past president of the PHAP. Similarly, the convention also picked Laxman Subedi of Hotel Sakura as first vice chairman and Deepak Shrestha from Mum’s Garden Resort as second vice chairman.
Likewise, Ganesh Raj Pahari from Hotel Tropicana, Rajendra Dhakal from Hotel Glacier, Parbati Pandey from Hotel Landmark and Naresh Bahadur Bhattarai from Mount Kailash Resort have been elected as General Secretary, secretary, treasurer and joint treasurer respectively.
Anil Shrestha from Fishtail Lodge, Mahadev Bhandari from Trekker Inn, Baibhav Paudel from Barahi Hospitality Group, Arjun Mainali from Shangri La Village Resort and Manu Nepali from Pokhara Grande are the elected members of the committee. Netra Paudel from Crystal Palace, Bharat Sharma from Atithi Resort, Dorjey Tamang from Yokohama Hotel and Raju Thakali from Hotel Legacy also are nominated members of the committee.
