PHAP AGM concludes

Pokhara—The 19th Convention and 38th annual general meeting of Paschimanchal Hotel Association Pokhara (PHAP) has been organized today in Lake City.

Gandaki Province Finance Minister Kiran Gurung inaugurated the program amid a formal ceremony. Addressing the program, minister Gurung stressed on the quality service of the hotel sector. He also claimed that the Gandaki Provice Government is tourism friendly and is focusing its efforts for the development of tourism sector.

At the same time, Gandaki Province assembly member Rajib Pahari underlined the concept of green clean Pokhara. He also stressed on the need of Phewa Lake conservation.

PHAP advisor and Pokhara Valley Urban Development Committee chairman Sundar Kumar Shrestha said that the preserving the investment of hotel sector is a big challenge of this time. He further urged the government to upgrade the Prithvi Highway and Siddhartha Highway.

Nepal Tourism Board newly elected member Biplab Paudel said that his priority would be the well being of entrepreneurs and tourism promotion during his tenure. Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Man Bahadur GC said that his office is going to install traffic lights in 10 different junction of Pokhara.

Hotel Association Nepal treasurer Sajan Shakya, Pokhara Tourism Council vice chairman Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai, PHAP general Secretary Ganesh Raj Pahari and vice chairman Laxman Subedi also delivered their views during the program chaired by PHAP president Bikal Tulachan. NTB member Paudel and Kaski District Tennis Association founding chairman Binod Kayastha were felicitated during the program.
