Prachanda selected CPN-MC Parliamentary Party leader

Kathmandu—CPN-MC Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been selected the parliamentary leader of his party today. A CPN-MC parliamentary party meeting held in Singha Durbar this morning picked Dahal as a parliamentary party leader, informed CPN-MC lawmaker Aman Lal Modi.

CPN-MC is a third largest party in parliament and has 53 lawmakers- 36 directly elected and 17 from proportional representation. Following his selection, Chairman Prachanda informed his fellows that the party unification process with ruling CPN-UML was going on positively.
