Former lawmaker Rabindra Adhikari allocates Rs 35 million budget for 40 programs

Pokhara—Former Lawmaker of then Kaski constituency number III and CPN-UML leader Rabindra Adhikari has allocated Rs 35 million budget that he received under the government’s Constituency Development Program and the Constituency Infrastructure Development Special program.

Government makes available Rs 5 million for every lawmaker for Constituency Development Program and Rs 30 million for Constituency Infrastructure Development Special program. Lawmakers in coordination with local government allocate such budget for the development of their respective constituencies.

Speaking in a press meet organized by Press Chautari Kaski, former lawmaker Adhikari has informed that he has allocated Rs 0.2 million to Rs 4 million for different 40 programs. Rs 4 million for Gaigaunda Pulchok road construction, Rs 2 million for Manakamana Temple road construction and Rs 1.5 each million for Urjamarga Road and sewerage construction and Fewa Power House canal galvin wire filling program are some of the bigger amount of the allocation.

Issuing a separate press release, Adhikari also claimed that he contributed as lawmaker with very transparent manner and worked as the chairman of Development Committee of parliament to expedite the project of national pride. He also informed that the house has forged more than 140 laws and according to him, this is a very big achieving.
