Pokhara—Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai on behalf of Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN) Pokhara hosted a reception on the occasion of Nepali New Year 2074 of Bikram Sambat today in Pokhara.
As per the tradition, REBAN Immediate Past President (IPP) hosts such reception every year during a starting of New Year. Bhattarai, who is the IPP of REBAN Pokhara organized a breakfast gathering in Paradiso Sports and Launge Bar that he owns, in Lakeside this morning.
REBAN President organizes such reception on the occasion of Nepal’s biggest festival Dashian. REBAN is the same organization that has been organizing one of the Nepal’s biggest and longest festivals called Pokhara Street Festival for years.
REBAN also hosts a Fagu Festival, the days of colors in Lakeside every year. Pokhara Tourism Council acting Chairman Bharat Raj Parajuli and REBAN Chairman Chau Bahadur Gurung were also present at the reception. IPP Bhattarai thanked all who joined the reception he hosted. Journalists, social workers and other tourism entrepreneurs including representatives from various organizations were invited in the breakfast program.
