Nepathya performs in Pokhara

Pokhara—Nepathya, a popular musical band in Nepal performed live in Pokhara on Saturday evening. Thousands of music lovers attended the two hours of musical show at Pokhara Stadium. It was a show that Nepathya performed after 3 years of gap in Pokhara.

The program was started with the songs like Kurup anuhar ho, Sheerful, Hami Nepali, Koshiko pani and Ho Ram. Vocalist Amrit Gurung sang Nepathya’s poplular songs Bhedako un jasto, Chekyo chekyo deurali danda, Talko pani, Resham Jogale huncha in the show. Gurung also thanked Kiran Kumar Gurung and Sonam Gurung who hosted the show on the occasion of Nepathya’s silver jubilee.

According to Program coordinator Vikesh Kayestha, some of the amount of collected funds would be granted to the village schools. Rs 1.5 to 2 million of the collected funds would be granted to Gaurishankar Mai Lal Secondary School of Lwang Ghalel, Kaski and Bhumeshwor Aadharbhut School, Salyan of same district.

Speaking in a concert, vocalist Gurung suggested his audiences to visit Nepal’s hillsides and tourism destinations. He also asked for unity among the Nepali and to vote in the upcoming local level election. Nepalaya’s Arpan Sharma said that Nepathya’s silver jubilee celebration has been commenced from Pokhara.
