Person drowned in Marshyangdi over 500 rupees bet

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: A person went missing in Marshyangdi River near Beshishahar in Nepal’s Lamjung District today.

Raju Ghimire 40 from Beshishahar municipality- 7 Jorti Chautara was swept away by the river from Ranikuwa. According to witnesses, Ghimire dived into river after setting five rupees bet with his friend Padam Ghimire.

According to police, Padam also dived into river however he succeeded to come out but Raju not. Earlier, they were on their work to install water tanks before diving into river. They had set a bet of rupees five hundred to met their target in the river.

Locals and security personnel are busy in search operation of Raju who is also said to be a principal of Himjyoti Primary School at Kaule in Khudi.
