CPN-UML launches protest rally against constitution amendment bill

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: CPN-UML Kaski Friday launched a protest rally against constitution amendment bill that was registered by government in parliament few days ago, in Pokhara on Friday.

Rastria Janamorcha Nepal, CPN Marxist-Leninist, CPN Revolutionary Maoist were also took part in the rally that was started from Shbhagriha Chowk and ended at Mahendrapul of Pokhara. The participants of rally urged government to withdraw amendment bill, to implement the constitution and to announce the date of elections. They also chanted slogans demanding not to break the nation. We don’t need anti nationalist government- they shouted.

CPN-UML Kaski Chairman Krishna Thapa asked the government to withdraw amendment bill in mass gathering. He also warned of strong agitation if the government remains reluctant over withdrawal of amendment bill.  He also accused Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba of trying to be a new king and autocratic.

RJN central vice president Shankar Baral claimed that the government registered amendment bill to break the nation in Indian interest. CPN Marxist Leninist leader Tek Raj Bhandari appealed all nationalists to unite for the sake of sovereignty of the nation.
