Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Nepali Congress center member and Minister for Urban Development Arjun Narsingh KC Sunday stressed on national consensus among major political parties to hold the elections within the time stipulated by the constitution.

Speaking in a press conference organized by Nepal Press Union Kaski in Pokhara, Minister KC said that the promulgation of constitution made possible as Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and CPN-MC had joined their hands, so, to implement the constitution, these forces should go hand in hand.

According to KC, the local level, provincial and general election could be hold only after the national consensus among the major political forces.  ‘We should take CPN-UML on board to hold the election’, KC said. Minister KC also said that his ministry is working to form a Pokhara Valley Unified Development Authority, comprising Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City and Lekhnath Municipality.
