Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: With facilities- mini bar, toilet, wash basin, the Jagadamba Travels has kicked off a VIP bus service in Pokhara-Kathmandu route, from Saturday.
According to Jagadamba Travels’ promoter Keshav Prasad Adhikari, the bus service with two buses started under Prithvi Rajmarga Bus Sanchalak Samiti. The 28-seated bus costs Rs 10 million. There is also served tea, coffee, and soft-drinks to passengers’ seats as per their wish, inside the bus.
Free wifi, drinking water, snacks, juice and television services are also available inside the bus. The one way travel fare is set Rs 1500 to Nepali and Rs 2,000 to foreigners.
The buses with cooler and heater services would leave for Kathmandu at 10 am from Lakeside and 11 am from Amarsingh Chok everyday. Likewise, the bus leaves for Pokhara at 11 am from Kalanki Kathmandu. The bus service was inaugurated by Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Bishwo Shankar Palikhe.
