8 arrested in gambling charge

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Police has arrested 8 persons in charge of gambling from Hemja of Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City, on Tuesday.

The persons who were playing Kauda, a Nepali gambling game, in a restaurant owned by Manhari Bhandari. A team of Police led by inspector Mohan Bahadur Khand arrested them with 16 sets of Kauda including Rs. 409,025.

The arrested are Bishnu Bastola of Pokhara- 9, Mahendra Rana Magar of Pokhara-9, Naba Raj Thapaliya of Pokhara-9, Chiranjivi Gurung of Pokhara-3, Kamal Sapkota of Pokhara-3, Narayan Shrestha of Pokhara- 14, Gopal Panthi of Majhkot Gulmi and Manhari Bhandari, informed District Police Office Kaski.
