China rain kills at least 25 people

Recentfusion.com—Beijing: Incessant rain in China killed at least 25 people and left around 16 million people to their houses, Chinese media reported on Sunday.

According to media reports, flood damaged more than 18 thousands houses and dozens of people are missing. Those killed were from Henan and neighboring Hebei province.  Around 9 million people were taken out from the same Hebei.

A massive part of China has been swamped with rain that summer, leaving more than 200 people dead. Similarly, 1.5 million hectares of cultivated land have been damaged by the flood. According to Chinese government, the nation faced more than 20 billion Yuan of economic losses.

Issuing a statement, the Central bank of China has vowed on Friday to provide financial support to flood victim areas.
