No confidence motion against government registered in parliament

Recentfusion.com—Kathmandu: The no confidence motion has been registered against PM KP Sharma Oli’s government in parliamentary secretariat on Wednesday. Nepali Congress, CPN Maoist Center and Nepal Communist Party Samyoukta registered that motion with 280 signatures.

Such motion registered following the CPN Maoist Center’s pulling out from the Oli government. As per the constitution of Nepal, there could be registered a no confidence motion once in six month period. According to parliamentary regulation, such motion takes a period of one week to be matured.

The motion was proposed by CPN Maoist Center President Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and supported by Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba. The motion was registered as PM Oli denied resigning from his post.
