Birat Mahayagya from Dec 8 in Lekhnath

Lekhnath–The Srimad Bhagwat Birat Gyan Mahayagya 2075 is to start from Dec 8 at the bank of Begnas Lake in Lekhnath city. Begnas Lake is the 2nd largest lake of Kaski district.

According to organizing committee spokesperson and general secretary Dhurba Nath Adhikari, the key objective of the program is the construction of infrastructures around that lake. This religious program also aims the expression of mass condolence for more than 108 persons who lost their lives in the lakes.

Programs’s chief coordinator Dilli Raman Tiwari informed that they have estimated the collection of Rs 50 million and saving of Rs 47.5 million from that grand event where devotees will voluntarily donate money for development works.  Renovations of temples around the lake, construction of ports, devotees’ shelter, view points, welcome gate and tourist parks are also in the chart, as per the information given in a press meet organized at at Mandare Park of Pokhara- 31 today.

Spiritual speaker Kamal Nayan Gautan will deliver his holy speech during the program that begins 11 am and ends on 4 pm everyday. Butter and oil lams will be lit on the evening of December 14. The program that starts with religious rally in the first day will be ended on December 29.
