Pokhara—A 15-year-old teenager boy had sexually abused a 7-year-old girl in Pokhara on September 22, 2018, District Police Office Kaski confirmed. The girl said that her neighboring boy proposed her to go to falls to take bath at around 12 am that day and abused her inside a bush.
The girl became ready to go to bath denying mother’s request not to do that as father left home for work. As boy and girl were coming back to home, latter started to cry but former gave her chocolates to mute her. However the mystery came out as girl started to show some unusual activity in her beg during night time. Finally she flashed the matter before her parents as they insisted to tell the truth.
Then she was taken to the hospital for checkup and the doctor’s report also proved that she had been raped. The teenager also confessed the abuse though he denied it at first. In this way, the society also knew about the incident and teenager boy’s daughter performed a so called marriage between girl and boy but the family of girl didn’t accept it.
According to DPO Kaski SP Om Bahadur Rana, the boy has been kept in borstal at Sarangkot after his arrest. The case against boy has already been filed. The locality of boy and girl; their names have not been disclosed due to privacy, child law and journalists’ code of conduct.
