Pokhara—Jamuna Parajuli has been elected president of Women Tourism Entrepreneurs’ Forum in Pokhara on Thursday. The first annual general meeting and convention also selected 17 member executive body of WOTEF.
Similarly, Parbati Pandey has been elected in vice president and Uma Bhandari in secretary. Likewise, Mamata Neupane in joint secretary, Kanti Adhikari in treasurer and Laxmi Lamichhane in joint treasurer also are the parts of WOTEF. At the same time, the convention also picked Uma Devi Adhikari, Balkumari Neupane, Manju Karki, Sharada Bhujel, Maya Subedi, Rita Regmi Paudel, Bhabana Ranabhat, Lilumaya Bhandari, Mithu Devi Lamichhane, Sushila Sigdel and Suntu Purja as a member of the WOTEF. Earlier, the convention was inaugurated by Gandaki Province Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung.
Pokhara Tourism Council Chairman Kedar Nath Sharma, Nepal Tourism Board Pokhara chief Mani Lamichhane, PTC former chairman Ganesh Bahadur Bhattarai, PCCI vice chairman Gokarna Karki, NTB former member Agni Kandel, NGO activist Padam Pahari, National Tourism Entrepreneurs’ Union chairman Govinda Raj Pahari, Community Police Service Center president Mina Bhattarai, social worker Ram Bahadur Paudel also put their remarks during the inaugural ceremony.
