Teenager school girl found dead in Pokhara

Pokhara—A teenager school girl Pushpa KC, 13 from Pokhara Metropolitan City- 19, Jimire- Lamachaur, has been found dead some two Km far from her house on August 24, 2018. KC who was a six grader student of Bindhyabasini Secondary School, Batulechaur was missing since August 23 after getting off her school bus.

According to Principal Krishna Prasad Acharya and school management committee chairperson Chandra Thapa, she had left the bus some 100 meter far from his residence unlike other days, saying that she needed to buy some vegetables and wanted to take her bag with her to fetch those vegetables.

But according to District Police Office Kaski spokesperson DSP Rabindra Gurung, she didn’t reach her home that evening and went missing. She left the bus at around 4.30 Pm before went missing and her dead body was found next evening at Phapar Taharo of Pokhara- 19.

Her guardians, villagers and police had carried out collective search operation following her missing. Her bag was found 1 Km far from her house and it has been suspected that she was raped and murdered by someone. Issuing a release, her school has urged the police to probe the case and to search the culprit. Probe over the case is undergoing and body is kept in hospital for postmortem.
