13 hostages rescued

Recentfusion.com— 20 civilian were killed in Dhaka Restaurant attack where commandos have rescued 13 hostages storming that restaurant on Saturday morning.  It has been claimed that 6 attackers were killed by the security forces to take out the hostages.

One of the attackers have been arrested alive. According to local media report, gunfire and explosion were heard in the morning at around 7.40 am local time in Dhaka.  As per the police, the operation has been over and the rescued 12 hostages were taken to the hospital. It took more than 12 hours to end the standoff with heavy gunfire.

According to police,  attackers with gun and bomb attacked the bakery cafe in Dhaka’s Gulshan district at around 9.25 pm (local time) on Friday. Media reports said at least 2 police officers killed in the gunfire in Holey Artisan Bakery which is situated in the diplomatic area, informed Prime Minister Sheih Hasina.
