Pokhara—Host LG Red has left the title of 2nd LG Cup 7 a side Football tournament in Pokhara on Saturday. Defeating LG black 2-0, former team bagged Rs 150,000 including trophy and medal. Ajit Gurung scored both the goals for LG Red. Runner up LG Black got Rs 80,000 including trophy and medal. Adarsha Club became 2nd runner up in the tournament. This team bagged Rs 20,000.
LG Black Govinda Thapa best player, LG Red Ajit Gurung highest scorer, LG Red Shuleman Thapa Magar best defender, LG Red Deep Karki best keeper, LG Black Sinkeman Tamang best striker, LG Red Prabin Gurung best best coach and LG Red Bishal Gurung Maila best manager also were given prize during the concluding ceremony.
A total of 64 teams took part in the tournament that was kicked off on April 6, informed tournament coordinator and host club treasurer Suman Gurung. The first and second prizes were sponsored by Himaaus Education Consultancy and ANFA Kaski Chairman Milan Gurung respectively.
