Pokhara—Big Splash under Aarya The Resort and Fun Pvt Ltd is all set to come into operation at Kundahar in Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City- 14. The first water park in Pokhara is going to be inaugurated from April 14, the first day of Nepali New Year 2075.
Big Splash is one of the attractive new destinations of Pokhara. It covers 13 ropanis of land and saw the investment of Rs 110 million, informed company MD Amit Raj Mulmi in a press conference organized near poolside on Thursday.
The place is suitable for family, children and all individuals who can enjoy swimming, sliding, splashing and many more there. One can enjoy 310 meter long sliding from 300 ft height to the water pool. Water fountains, 120 ft long pendulum slide, straight slide and wave slide from the height of 15 ft. and the play station for children are also the attractions of the Big Splash. Visitors also can see mushroom umbrella, crystal arena and dandelion fountains there. All the slides are made of fiber glass and galvanized iron.
Water has been managed from the boring of 100 meter and is being treated with Emaux company filter. The place is also suitable for pool party, video and photo shoot, concert and water sports. With a height 2 ft 6 inch child could get free entry and Rs 435 for up to 4 ft. Likewise, higher than 4 ft person should pay Rs 495 to enter and enjoy the splash. Rs 5 will go for social work from the income of the splash where 25 persons are employed, informed company Chairman Ananda Raj Mulmi.
