Prime Minister Oli to visit India from April 6

Pokhara—Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is to visit southern neighbor India from 6 to 8 April, 2018. Issuing a press statement today, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal informed that PM Oli is going to pay a State Visit to at the cordial invitation of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.  Prime Minister Oli will be accompanied by his spouse Mrs. Radhika Shakya.

According to statement, the entourage of Prime Minister will comprise Ministers, Members of Parliament, Secretaries and other high-ranking officials of the Government of Nepal. The statement reads, during the visit, the Rt. Hon’ble Prime Minister of Nepal will pay calls on His Excellency Shri Ram Nath Kovind, President, and His Excellency Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India. The Rt. Hon’ble Prime Minister will hold official talks with His Excellency Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, and exchange views on matters of mutual interests. Some senior Cabinet members of the Government of India will call on the Rt. Hon’ble Prime Minister.

According to information, Prime Minister will also visit Pantnagar, Uttarakhand and attend a programme organized at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology.
