APF beats CMG Sankata

Pokhara—Defeating CMG Sankata Football Club 1-0, Nepal APF Club advanced in the quarter finals of 16th Aaha Rara Gold Cup Football Tournament being held in Pokhara Stadium. Man of the match Aditya Chaudhary contributed solitary goal in 28th minute for APF.

Referee Srawan Lama granted the chance of free kick to APF as Sankata player Koara Larba Florent Kone tackled APF player Ranjan Bista. At the same time Chaudhary scored for APF utilizing the free kick from 17 yards. Speaking in post-match conference, Sankata coach Salyan Khadgi said that his player lacked good coordination and finishing the ball.

Similarly, APF coach Ratna Kaji Maharjan expressed his happiness that his team won the match. He however added that his player didn’t show their full during the match. Nepal Police Club will take on Jhapa XI on Friday.
