Nepal beats Malaysia by 8 wickets in ACC U-19 Asia Cup

Pokhara–Nepal thrashed Malaysia by 8 wickets in ACC U-19 Asia Cup in final group round match at Bayuemas Oval today. Wining toss, Nepal choose bowling first and Sandip Lamichhane alone took five wickets to collapse Malaysian bating order . Malaysia only collected 45 runs before being all out in 15.3 overs.

The fixed 50 overs match was reduced to 24/24 overs due to the rain problem. Nepal met 46 runs’ small target in 5.3 over by losing only two wickets. Anil Saha scored 26 runs for Nepal. Likewise, captain Dipendra Airee scored 12 while Anil Kumar Saha 17 for Nepal’s victory. Nepal now has 4 points after three matches of Group A.
