Nine other killed in separate Tata Sumo jeep plung in Udaypur

Udaypur—Nine persons were killed and 3 other injured when a Tata Sumo jeep met with an accident in Udaypur district of Nepal. The jeep which was on the way to Okhaldhunga from Katari skied off the road and plunged some 300 meter down along the Siddhicharan Highway in Katari, District Police Office Udaypur confirmed.

The jeep with a number plate Na 1 Ja 3404 plunged from a cliff as it arrived to Thanti Bhanjyang. A theree year old child including driver and a woman were injured during the accident. They are having treatment at Katari base hospital. The cause of the accident is uncleared and the identity of deceased is yet to be flashed.

According to Udayapur SP Nabaraj Bhatta, it is unclear that how many passengers were travelling the ill-fated jeep; however the journey was said to be begin with 10 passengers and more were boarded while on the away.
