30 killed in Afghanistan suiciede car bomb attack

Afghanistan—At least 30 persons were killed in a suicide car bomb attack at Lashkar Gah in Afghanistan last night, international media report.

Lashkar Gah is a capital of Afghanistan’s southern Helmand province. Taliban spokesman Qari Yousuf Ahmadi claimed that they are responsible behind the accident.

A car that was carrying explosive wished to target the Kabul Bank branch in Lashkar Gah, informed Helmand province spokesman Omar Zwak. Afghan soldiers desert as Taliban threaten key Helmand central point.

According to media report, 60 other were injured during the tragedy. Civilians and policemen who had gone to the bank to collect their salary are among the dead, inofmre Mohammad Karim Atal, the chief of the local provincial council.
