India outplays Nepal 3-1 in SAFF Women Championship

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: India beat Nepal 3-1 in first semi final of fourth SAFF Women’s Championship in Siliguri- India today.

Nepal had lost previous three final matches with India but this time, Nepal’s performance remained very poor to reach final. Indian striker Kamala Devi scored first goal against Nepal in 44th minute. Then Indumati added another goal for India in 59th minute. But Sabitri Bhandari scored a goal in 75th minute through penalty shoot. But Sushmita Mallik scored last goal in 83 minute for India to thrash Nepal in semifinal.

Nepali goalkeeper Angila Subba checked more than half a dozen shots of India in Kanchenjunga Stadium. Nepali coach Kumar Thapa expressed dissatisfaction over the decision of Bangladeshi referee. Thapa claimed that the referee didn’t provide three penalty opportunities for Nepal.
