Nepal Police, Nepali Army win gold medal

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Sanrakshan Bhushan Bajracharya from Nepali Army won the gold medal on men’s single tennis tournament under 7th National Games. Bajracharya outplayed Kamal Bhandari of Nepal Police Club (NPC) straight set of 2-0.

Likewise, Mayanka Rana from NPC defeated Mahika Rana of NPC to secure gold medal in women’s single. NPC won 3 gold medals including today’s gold medal in tennis of 7th National Games.

Western Development Region won 2 gold medals in team event and men’s doubles of tennis tournament. The team of Kumar Adhikari and Anil Shai defeated the team of Santosh Khatri and Sriram Magar of APF 2-0 to win gold medal.

In women’s doubles, NPC’s Mahika and Mayanka defeated Ira Rawat and Abhilasha Bista to get gold medal.

Nepali Army Paschim Pritana Chief Jagadish Chandra Pokhrel, Nepal Tennis Association president Jyoti Rana, immediate past President Manoj Rana including others distributed the prizes in concluding ceremony. Nepal Tennis Association vice president also expressed his views during a program.
