Russian plane with 91 persons on board crashes over Black Sea

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: A Russian Defence Ministry TU-154 plane has crashed over Black Sea, the Interfax news agency reports. The plane that had disappeared from radar over that sea with 91 people including 83 passengers and 8 crew members on board had gone missing soon after the taking off from Sochi Adler Airport, one of the Black Sea touristy towns, on a planned flight.

Interfax claimed that the crash rescue workers had found the crash site in the Black Sea near the coast of the Sochi. As per an earlier report, the plane failed to check in with the control tower at 5:40am Moscow time, the defency ministry said, adding that all rescue services in the region have been deployed for search and rescue.

Nine scribes along with musicians from the army choir of the Russian Armed Forces, the Alexandrov Ensemble, were aboard the plane, the ministry confirmed. The musicians were due to participate in a New Year’s live concert at the Russian airbase in Latakia, Syria.
