Trishuli bus plunge claims one

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: At least one person was killed as a passenger bus plunged into Trishuli River in Muglin-Naraghat road section on Tuesday evening.

The bus with a number plate Lu 1 Kha 7391 was en routing from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa and veered off the road at around 8.45 in Dahakhani- 6 near 9 kilo of Chitwan. According to Chitwan District SP Basanta Kunwar, police have rescued eight injured persons from the incident site.

According to him, the identification of deceased is yet to be known.  The half part of the bus has immersed into Trishuli water and another half could be seen from outside. Police have believed that all total 11 including driver and his supporter were travelling in the bus during the accident.
