PCCI president Palikhe proposes for Pokhara Development Fourum

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Newly elected Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) President Bishwo Shankar Palikhe assumed his office today. PCCI Former president Bindu Kumar Thapa and PCCI director Top Bahadur Thapa welcomed Palikhe and his team in the secretariat.

Taking the charge of office, Palikhe stressed on the need of common forum for the development of Pokhara. According to him, the forum with private sector, expert and social activists would forge a road map for Pokhara development like government sector . He also added that the Comprehensive Pokhara Development Forum not only plans the projects but cooperates and advocates with stakeholders.

He also vowed to work for the development of Pokhara and for the well being of entrepreneurs following the suggestions and directions by the former PCCI presidents. President Palikhe along with the newly elected PCCI General Serectary Damu Adhikari are leaving for Linzhi of Tibet to clinch a accord to have 2,000 pieces of solar poles for Pokhara, today.

Palikhe on the way in Kathmandu will hold a discussion to the stakeholders and government officials about the dispute over the issue of tourist number plate that the government is allegedly planning to ban for domestic tourists. PCCI former presidents Rajendra Kumar Lalchan and Sanjiv Bahadur Koirala were also present during the program run by PCCI newly elected general secretary Damu Adhikari.
