12 houses swept away in Begkhola of Myagdi

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: The midnight flood swept away 12 houses in Nepal’s Myagdi district last night. According to District Police Office Myagdi, the flood following the incessant rainfall triggered havoc in Bega village development committee ward number 6.

The settlement situates nearby Beni-Jomsom road section and the road service also was disrupted as the flash flood gutted a belly bridge and suspension bridge of that section. The settlement has been converted into a barren however locals fled as the flood hit the settlement.

According to police inspector Lokendra Singh Gurung, one of the locals went missing and four house of the settlement have been evacuated. The search of missing one is also undergoing, police report.
