Gurung family donate to Sahara Academy childern

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: On the occasion of Father’s Day, Debu Gurung from Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City- 12, Fulbari donated some food grains and cash money to Sahara Academy situated in Dobilla of same metropolitan city.

Remembering her late father Gagan Singh Gurung, she along with her husband Milan Gurung who is also a vice president of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Kaski handed over 10,000 rupees cash money and the food grains worth rupees 12,000 to Suraj Gurung, the vice president of Sahara Club Pokhara and the hostel in-charge of that academy which has been running by that club for years.

Donating cash and food grains, Debu said she had been handing over such support to the residents of old age homes but that time she was very happy that she reached out to helpless children of that academy. She also pledged that she will continue such help and donations in the days to come too.

Sahara Club vice president Suraj Gurung informed that the cash money donated by Debu would be deposited in the provident fund conducted by his club. He also said that the club has come a long way by the help of the people from different fields.

Late Gagan Singh Gurung was a former president of ward office 12 and he used to offer a training related to Pachyu Khegi to produce Gurung priests. The Gurung family have been supporting for that training too, for years.
