Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Nepal got 19 runs’ victory against Netherlands in ICC World Cricket League Championship at the VRA stadium in Amstelveen on Monday. It’s a Netherlands’ first defeat in eight match of the league. Previously Netherlands had defeated Nepal by 7 wickets in their first play.
However the Netherlands at the top level in the table with 12 points while Nepal in sixth position with six points. In Nepal’s winning match, Paras Khadka collected 84 runs that took Nepal to 217 runs at a time when Nepal was losing 9 wickets in their 50 overs match. Khadka played his 94 balls’ inning smashing 1 six and seven fours.
Nepal’s situation was not good as of 19.2 overs, till that Nepal lost 3 wickets. Captain Khadka shared a 118 runs’ set with Sagar Pun for the fourth wicket. Pun collected 45 runs off 78 balls. Opener Gyanendra Malla scored 39 runs from 52 balls.
