Pokhara–Wang Xin, Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China said that the newly built Pokhara International Airport (PIA) is a symbol of love between Nepal and China.
Addressing an inaugural ceremony of the PIA on Sunday, Mr. Wang further added that the PIA is not only the aviation center but also a friendship project of true love and bilateral support of two neighbors. According to Wang, the PIA is a strong proof and lively practice that will help to build and achieve a common community, common development and prosperity between Nepal and China.
Saying that the PIA is one of the shining trade cards of Belt and Road Initiative, a global infrastructure development strategy introduced by the Chinese government in 2013. He also vowed to work together to build China-Nepal railway connectivity and other development projects in Nepal.
