Pokhara– Pawan Kumar Parajapati has announced his presidential candidacy for the upcoming 34th general convention of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) which is going to be held on September 9 and 10 in Pokhara.
Organizing a press meet, Mr Parjapati who is an incumbent senior vice president of this organization, said that his claim for the top post is natural and fair. Prajapati served for more than 10 years contributing as an executive member, treasurer and vice chairman in PCCI. He also claimed that his claim for this post has already been justified by his seniors in his organization.
Prajapati also unveiled his 14-point manifesto at the moment. Prajapati made clear that the investment-friendly environment and respectful status of the business community are his key mottos. He further added that he would develop PCCI as per the demand of time, requirement, and role.
Similarly, his team will establish a business and industry-related data center as well as an entrepreneurship development center in Pokhara. The construction of an IT-friendly secretariat and multipurpose buildings also are in his chart. Tourism promotion-related programs, orientation and training also are included in his manifesto. PCCI has 3300 general members who have the voting right to choose a new committee for two years of tenure.
