Eight persons killed in Palpa road accident

Pokhara—At least eight persons who were on the way to a funeral ceremony were killed when a bus they were travelling met with an accident in Palpa district on Sunday morning. Eight persons were injured during the incident. The bus carrying a dead body was heading to Ridi of Palpa from Belbas of Butwal.

Security personnel and local people rescued the injured from the incident site Ribdikot- 2, Laguwa. According to police, the bus with 35 persons left the road when it arrived in the turning. According to Palpa Chief District Officer Jaganath Pantha, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
