Narayan Koirala elected as PCCI Chairman

Pokhara—Narayan Koirala has been elected as chairman of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). He defeated his only rival Bindu Koirala Subedi, garnering a total of 1375. Subedi got 410 fewer votes than Koirala. A total of 2365 votes (75pc) were cast during the election that held on Saturday at Pokhara Exhibition Center in Nayabazaar. A total of 3054 voters were eligible to take part in the polls that elected the new executive body of PCCI.

Similarly, Pawan Prajapati was elected as Senior Vice President without any oppose. Likewise, Arjun Pokhrel (chamber) and Gokarna Karki (commerce) became the vice-chairmen of the institution. At the same time, Surendraman Bijukchhe was given the responsibility of the General Secretary. Keshav Bahadur Khatri was chosen as deputy General Secretary. Balaram Acharya became the treasurer of PCCI.

Shova Gautam, Devendra KC, Kumari Muna Bastola, Uttam Man Buddhacharya, Sudip Pradhananga, Hariraj Panta, Bharat KC, Dinesh Chandra Bastola, Sudan Bahadur Koirala and Pabitra Devi Gurung were elected as the member of the executive body.

Likewis, Balkrishna Koirala, Rajan Gongaju, Balram Timilsina, Rup Narayan Bhujel, Harka Bahadur Adhikari, Harihar Sapkota and Hiramani Pandit were elected as associate member of PCCI.
