Pokhara—Chairmen and various tourism related organizations from Pokhara have pledged that they are ready to extend their support to make Fewa New Year Festival 2076 a grand success. Paschimanchal Hotel Association Pokhara (PHAP) is going to hold a 3-day long festival at Komagane Park in Lakeside of Pokhara from April 12 to 14.
Taking part in the interaction, participants put their suggestions to maintain the parts of sanitation, security, price control and monitoring during the festival. PHAP chairman and festival coordinator Bikal Tulachan informed that his organization had held interactions and press meets in four major Nepali cities under Jaun hai Pokhara- let’s go to Pokhara campaign that also aimed to promote Fewa festival. He also talked about the activities that are to be included in the festival supported by Gandaki Province government, Hotel Association Nepal and promoted by Nepal Tourism Board.
PHAP immediate past president Bharat Raj Parajuli said that the festival is mainly focusing on Nepali culture, Nepali foods and music as the festival is going to be organized during Nepali New Year. Cultural tableaus’ competition, Gandaki Province level dance competition, tourism race and pop concerts are the key attraction of the festival, informed PHAP general secretary Ganesh Raj Pahari.
