Pokhara—Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal (HAPN) is to organize the 18th Fewa New Year Festival 2023 from April 12 to 14 in Lakeside of the touristy town Pokhara. The festival aims preservation of Nepali culture and the promotion of tourism in the domestic as well as international market.
According to HAPN Chairman and festival coordinator Laxman Subedi, it has been offered a 20 percent discount on the published tariff of hotel rooms. Moreover, the festival is mainly focused on tourism, culture, and food. The festival will occupy a 2 km road section between Fishtail Gate and Hallan Chowk.
Cultural and musical shows, dances, and varieties of foods will be the major attractions of the festival. The entrepreneurs believe that the festival will support reviving hard-hit tourism by Covid- 19 pandemic, Chairman Subedi informed the journalists in a press meet recently held in Pokhara.
