Pokhara—Pushpa Kamal Dahal aka Prachanda has been unanimously elected CPN-MC chairman on Monday. The party central committee first meeting held in Lalitpur following the 8the General Convention of this party reelected Prachanda as the head of CPN-MC.
Mr. Dahal was proposed as party chairman by party leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha and seconded by Krishna Bahadur Mahara in the meeting where 236 central committee members took the oath of their office and secrecy.
