Jaun Hai Pokhara Campaign begins in Western Nepal

Pokhara–Paschimanchal Hotel Association Pokhara (PHAP) has commenced its Jaun Hai Pokhara ‘Let’s go to Pokhara’ campaign in Western Nepal on Friday. Before this, a 14-member promotion group has left for Nepalgunj this afternoon.

At a time when Covid- 19 was massively spreading in Nepal, PHAP had conducted the JHP campaign in Eastern Nepal about three months before and now the PHAP is launching its campaign in the Western part.

According to PHAP Chairman Bikal Tulachan, the campaign aims to revive the hard-hit Pokhara tourism by Covid-19. The campaign coordinator and PHAP immediate past president Bharat Raj Parajuli informs that the campaign will be covering Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, Bardiya and Kanchanpur.

Interactions with entrepreneurs, journalists and government officials, promotions materials distributions and documentary shows will be the parts of this promotional campaign. The campaign was first launched about two decades ago to promote domestic tourism in Nepal. Then, the campaign has been organized every year.
