Pokhara—A combined art exhibition is undergoing in touristy town Pokhara. The exhibition contains the paintings drawn by the students from Annapurna Drawing Dream Team. A total of 36 creations of 18 students are included in the exhibition that was jointly inaugurated by their guardians.
Students from Bhume Basic School (BBS), Birethanti Secondary School, Bhagwati Secondary School and Janapriya Secondary School are the contributors to the exhibition. Janapriya is Pokhara based school while the rest are from Annapurna Rural Municipality of Kaski district. The 7 to 12 graded students traveled from Poon Hill to Lumbini to make those artworks. The exhibition concludes on coming Saturday.
When the whole globe is facing Covid- 19 pandemic, the exhibition wishes to deliver the message that ‘Let’s pray for the world.’ The exhibition is being held at Zero Gallery Café, Korean Nepali Restaurant in Khahare. Host Radha Jung and Bikash Ghale believe that the exhibition is inspirational to the school students.
At the same time, Annapurna Drawing Dream Team art teacher Ku Hyun Kim, 74, said that the exhibition made his dream true. Kim is a Korean author and artist who frequently visits Nepal to promote the Nepali arts. Kim had taken 12 students with their 120 paintings to Korea to include them in an art exhibition held in Seoul in 2017. BBS principal Tej Sharma and Parichaya.com publisher Sovit Basyal praised Kim’s work that has been helping in the promotion of Nepal.
