Pokhara—The 16th edition of Lekhnath Festival is to be held from December 19 at Dandako Naak of Pokhara- 27. A total of 343 stalls would be installed in the festival which is to be organized by Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
According to publicity sub-committee coordinator Upendra Raj Subedi, the stalls include fishes, oranges, automobiles, IT, honey, the exhibition of tourist destinations, food festival, handicrafts and garments. Similarly, events of entertainment and music related shows will also be included in the festival that ends on December 31.
LCCI Chairman and festival coordinator Balram Dhakal informed that the organizing committee has expected about 250,000 audiences in the festival that will see the transaction of Rs 150 million. The organizing committee hopes that the festival will be helpful in promoting the Visit Nepal Year 2020.
LCCI treasurer Januka Adhikari, FNJ Kaski Secretary Ram Prasad Timilsena and LCCI General Secretary Gopi Chandra Bastola also put their remarks during the press meet held at the festival venue on Tuesday.
