Pokhara—Barahi Hospitality Group (BHG) has soft-launched its third hotel at Sarangkot, a popular hill station north to touristy town Pokhara. The newly opened Sarangkot Mountain Lodge (SML) is situated at an elevation of 1600 meter from sea level and has been built with an investment of Rs 355 million.
Tourism entrepreneur Narayan Pahari has also been included in this venture. BHG is running Hotel Barahi at Lakeside of Pokhara and Barahi Jungle Lodge at Meghauli of Chitwan. The fourth hotel is under construction in Kathmandu, BHG General Manager Rajkumar KC told to reporters.
SML has 30 rooms including to be built two suit rooms. It has also a conference room with a capacity of 80 persons and a restaurant where 65 persons can have eating at once. The hotel also offers massage and spa facilities. Breathtaking Annapurna range, its reflection in rooftop swimming pool, green hills, view of Pokhara valley including Phewa Lake are some of the attraction in and around that lodge that owns the area of 0.4 hectare.
According to Barahi Group System and Development Manager Pradip Neupane, Nepali couple should pay Rs 10,000 per night to stay in the hotel. The tariff for a single person is Rs 8,000 as an offer price. At the same time, foreign couple should pay USD 120 for that service. The lodge is going to have grand opening along the starting of Visit Nepal Year 2020, informed BHG Executive Director Biplab Paudel.
Hiking, cycling and bird watching services are also included in hotel basket. Nepali national flower rhododendron, wild cat, deer also could be seen around the hotel area. Paragliding and zip-flyer facility are available near the SML.
